1.Nasri's West Ham move in doubt

Samir Nasri's move to West Ham has been thrown into doubt over converns over the midfielder's fitness, reports the Mirror.
Nasri looked set to reunite with his former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini in a heavily incentivized contract once his ban for doping finished at the end of December.

However the Hammers are concerned about being weighed down by another highly paid player who is a fitness question, with Andy Carroll, Jack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko already sidelined.

2. De Ligt to Barcelona? Koeman says yes

Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman understands Matthijs de Ligt's frustrations with life in the Eredivisie after the Ajax defender hit out at the league's level of competition.

De Ligt has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona and his national boss believes the move would be a good one.

"I think it's clear that a player like Matthijs de Ligt in a certain moment decides to make a step to a bigger league, to another level," Koeman said.

3. Martino no lock to be Mexico manager

4. Man Utd in discussions with Young over new contract

Manchester United are in talks with Ashley Young over a new contract, reports the BBC. The 33-year-old defender is the club's longest serving player, but his current deal expires at the end of the season.

The Red Devils are looking to sign him for another season and though talks are at an early stage, Young would like to remain.

5. Conte rules out Madrid and talks up June decision

Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has claimed he wants to wait until June before returning to management while dismissing the possibility Real Madrid at the current time.

The ex-Blues boss had been lined up to replace Julen Lopetgeui at Santiago Bernabeu, but for the time being Santiago Solari has been installed as manager on an interim basis.

And Conte has addressed those rumours, confessing that despite interest from top clubs, he intends to wait until the end of the season before signing up for a 'new project'.

6. Colback admits to bleak Newcastle future

Jack Colback concedes that his future may lie away from Newcastle, with there little to suggest that the Nottingham Forest loanee will be welcomed back into the fold at St James Park.

He has said: My situation at Newcastle looks pretty bleak, with Rafa [Benitez].

That is one of those things. I am not too fussed about that, but it was disappointing with the way it ended, with Newcastle being my home town club.
